[EN] This is the photo that was selected for ImageNation Paris by the curator of the “Just Woman” section – Slavica Veselinovic. I took it last summer in the river with my model. For the Paris exhibition, I named it Ancient Waters. Photo is available for purchase at ImageNation Paris official website. Printed on 100% cotton fine-art paper and framed in wood.
My head is still processing what happened during this short but very intense time. The long trip and lack of sleep made me very tired, but as soon as we arrived in Le Marais in Paris and I saw my photo hanging in the Parisian gallery, tears of emotion ran down my face and I forgot about the tiredness. I have worked for this moment for half of my life, since I first picked up a camera. This exhibition is a very important moment in my life. I still can’t believe how big it is.

Moja głowa dopiero przetwarza to, co wydarzyło się przez ten krótki, ale bardzo intensywny czas. Długa podróż i niewielka ilość snu spowodowały ogromne zmęczenie, ale gdy tylko dotarliśmy na Le Marais do Paryża i zobaczyłam swoje zdjęcie wiszące w paryskiej galerii, to pojawiły się łzy wzruszenia i o zmęczeniu zapomniałam natychmiast. Na ten właśnie moment pracowałam przez kilkanaście lat, od pierwszego dnia gdy tylko wzięłam do ręki aparat. Ta wystawa to niezwykle ważny moment w moim życiu. Jeszcze nie dociera do mnie jego waga.
